About Founder

It started with a simple problem: wet morning runs in Latvia left my feet cold, drenched, and uncomfortable.

My name is Elizabeth, and I love to run. But Latvia's notoriously wet weather made every run a battle. I looked for waterproof socks that were actually breathable, but everything on the market forced me to choose between staying dry and staying comfortable.

So I decided to create the solution myself.

Throughout the summer of 2025, I worked painting wooden fences across Latvia, saving every cent to bring Current Stride to life. On August 30th, 2025, we officially launched with our revolutionary AquaStride waterproof socks—the first socks that are completely waterproof yet truly breathable.

What started as fixing my own problem evolved into something bigger. Our first order proved I wasn't alone—countless others needed this solution too.

My vision for Current Stride is to become the biggest brand to come out of Latvia and to build a community of people who support each other in pursuing their outdoor passions.
